Malongwe Teaches is a leading online Mathematics and Physical Sciences tutoring service in South Africa, offering personalized instruction in both Afrikaans and English for learners in grades 4-12. Our tutoring approach is guided by, but not limted to, the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) under the South African National Curriculum Framework for General Education and Training (NCF-GET). This allows us to tailor our instruction to meet the specific needs of our learners, while still providing comprehensive education in accordance with national standards.

Mathematics Courses:
At Malongwe Teaches, we offer comprehensive Mathematics courses tailored to learners in grades 4 to 12. With a focus on real-world applications and problem-solving strategies, our courses will help learners develop a deep understanding of topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry and more, equipping them with the skills they need to succeed in their academic pursuits.
Physical Sciences Courses:
We offer comprehensive Physical Sciences courses that are tailored to learners in grades 10 and 11. Through interactive live classes and real-word examples, learners will develop a deep understanding of physics and chemistry, and gain valuable problem-solving skils. Our courses are designed to help learners make a success of their studies in Physical Science.
Key Components of Each Course
1. Weekly Online Classes (Sundays):
These are live classes and cover a wide range of topics in Mathematics and/or Physical Sciences, and are tailored to the students’ grade level. Each class typically lasts for 50 minutes and includes discussions, and practical examples to help students apply their knowledge in real-world situations.
3. Our Teaching Methodology:
We employ a variety of teaching methods to engage students and help them master Mathematics and/or Physical Sciences. These methods include visual aids, hands-on activities, real-world examples, and personalized instruction. We tailor our lessons to the needs of our students, ensuring that they receive the support and engagement they need to succeed.
2. Optional Appointments (Weekdays):
These appointments are designed to provide additional support and reinforcement of the material covered in the weekly classes. Appointment days and times are Mondays to Thursdays (16:00 to 18:00) and Fridays (15:00 to 17:00), with each session lasting for 50 minutes.
4. The Technology We Use:
We use a wide range of technological tools to enhance the online learning experience, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, educational platforms such as Teach Infinity, etc. This allows learners to collaborate and interact with each other and the tutor, as well as see real-time examples and demonstrations of mathematical and scientific concepts. Once subscribed, our learners can use their smartphones to gain access to our services. However, we recommend using a laptop or a tablet.
